Position Summary :
City Wide Jani Inc. is looking for reliable candidates to fulfill a part time custodial position in Southside Chicago, Illinois. Shifts are scheduled between the hours of 7am - 1pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Interior and Exterior - Residential Common Areas, Grounds, , and any other area assigned by supervisor
- Empty Trash from any and all trash receptacles
- Dust window sills, air vents and any other area assigned by supervisor
- Clean and sterilize restroom facilities
- Maintain outdoor grounds, cut grass and trim bushes
- Sterilize all high use areas to reduce the spread of bacteria and any other harmful agents
- Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to Operations Manager
- Maintain the grounds surrounding the property
- Ensure adherence to OSHA and maximum safety procedures
- Perform other duties as delegated by Supervisor

Qualifications
- Day Availability (7a-1p)
- Custodial experience preferred but not required.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50lbs
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risk and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be willing to wear a mask
- Vehicle required.
